Loads of Leeds fans have been giving their verdict on the injury to Luke Ayling, and the majority of fans want young Jamie Shackleton to replace the popular right-back.

Leeds just cannot catch a break with injuries at the moment, as Ayling suffered a knee injury against Nottingham Forest just as Barry Douglas was nearing a return on the other flank.

Douglas is expected to be fit to face Wigan this weekend, but Marcelo Bielsa is going to have a tough decision to make on the right side of his defence, where he will be without Ayling for around two months.

Gaetano Berardi, who is also struggling with injuries, can play on either flank, but has shown his best stuff this season in a central position.

Stuart Dallas is another option, but fans have crucified the versatile Northern Irishman for his recent performances.

That leaves Shackleton, who despite playing through the youth ranks as midfielder was very impressive in that right-back spot earlier this season.

The boss said in his press conference on Friday that Dallas will likely play as a full-back, but just seven per cent of fans agree with that decision.
