A few Spurs fans unfurled a banner at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday ahead of the club's Premier League clash against Crystal Palace. The banner had the words, 'Merci, PSG' written. It was a gesture to thank the French champions for knocking their arch-rivals out of the Champions League semi-finals earlier this week.

The group of fans, however, could not keep the banner for long as a club steward swiftly reacted and took it down. Arsenal had reached the Champions League last-four stage for the first time in 16 years after beating reigning kings Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate in the quarter-finals. Luis Enrique's side, however, had the last laugh as they reached the final, beating the English side 3-1 on aggregate.
