Harry Kane has issued a rallying cry to his Bayern Munich team-mates and fans after missing a golden chance in the club's 2-1 loss to Inter Milan.

Kane was presented with a golden opportunity in the first half of Bayern's Champions League quarter-final first-leg encounter against Inter on Tuesday night but uncharacteristically failed to take his moment. The England captain was played through inside the Inter box and wrapped a curling effort towards goal, only to see the ball clip the post and fly out for a goal kick.

It was a rare miss from such a distance from Kane, who has a reputation as one of Europe's most lethal finishers. His side were then punished for his mistake, conceding two second-half goals to trail heading into the return leg at the San Siro. It was a night to forget for the former Tottenham man, but he has taken to social media in an effort to rally the troops for the second part of the tie.

On his official Instagram page, the 31-year-old said: "A disappointing result last night but lots of good things we can take from the game. Tie isn’t over! All to play for next week. 💪"

Kane has been firing on a constant basis this season, netting 34 goals in all competitions, including 10 in the Champions League. He will need to produce some magic in Italy next week if Bayern are to progress to the semi-finals.
