West Ham United have announced the signing of goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski from Swansea City for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £7million.
The Polish shot-stopper is the Hammers’ third signing of the summer after Ryan Fredericks and Issa Diop moved to the London Stadium.
West Ham announced the signing of Fabianski with a stylish video on social media which revealed the goalkeeper as a new addition in a Panini-style West Ham sticker book.
It remains to be seen whether the new signing will dislodge fan-favourite Adrian from the no.1 spot at West Ham.
Fabianski was voted Swansea’s Player of the Year last season for his consistently strong performances, but he was unable to stop them being relegated from the Premier League.
West Ham fans have been reacting to the signing on social media, with supporters both delighted with the signing and impressed by the quality of the announcement by the club.
