Hollywood superstar Channing Tatum has saluted the "ride-or-die" mentality that Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have forged at Wrexham.

Tatum recently joined fellow A-list actor Reynolds in North Wales for the live EFL experience. He has become the latest high-profile guest to attend a game at SToK Racecourse. The ‘Magic Mike’ frontman was impressed by what he witnessed on and off the pitch.

Tatum filmed a Super Bowl advert alongside Wrexham players while in the UK and got to savour first hand what Reynolds and McElhenney have built after taking on the most unlikely of sporting ventures. Back-to-back promotions have already been enjoyed as ambitious Premier League dreams are allowed to form.

Wrexham are thriving as a football club, but also as a community – with more funds being invested there. Tatum is now fully converted to the Red Dragons and has already stated that he intends to return for a second visit at some stage.

Tatum has posted on social media while reflecting on his time enjoying Welsh hospitality: “Caffeine and dancing aside, that trip to Wrexham was something I’ll never forget. What Ryan Reynolds @vancityreynolds and @robmcelhenney have done for the community in Wrexham is magic.
“I spent a few days (and nights) there. The team and town have a sense of optimism and a ride-or-die loyalty that made me want to stay forever. Incredible work, Ryan and Rob. Good people build good things. And thanks to the many beautiful people of Wrexham. Up the town!”
