West Bromwich Albion sacked Tony Pulis on Monday, and Leeds United fans are divided on whether he could potentially replace the under pressure Thomas Christiansen at Elland Road.
Despite beating Middlesbrough 2-1 at Elland Road last weekend, a 4-1 defeat against Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night pushed the Whites back down to 10th in the standings – a considerable drop seeing as they were top two months ago.
Meanwhile, Pulis was relieved of his duties after picking up just two wins in the Baggies’ last 21 Premier League matches, but he is known for his organisation and defensive work – something that the Yorkshire outfit are in need of having now let in 22 goals in their last 11 league games.
Leeds fans were quick to have their say on the Welsh boss via social media, and they were divided with their opinions.
While one simply said “he would get us up”, another said “I wouldn’t have Pulis if they paid his wages straight into my bank account”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
