Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to react after The Sun revealed that the Eagles have turned their attention to Jordon Ibe, after appearing to lose out to West Ham in the race to sign Jarrod Bowen.
The south Londoners had agreed a £16m fee with Hull City for Bowen on Thursday according to The Daily Mail, although The Sun report that the Hammers have now hijacked the deal and agreed a sum of £20m with the Tigers.
As a result, Roy Hodgson is now searching for others options, with Ibe on the radar – Bournemouth are reportedly desperate to move him on this month according to Jack Rosser of The Evening Standard.
The former Liverpool attacker has barely featured for the Cherries this season, making just two Premier League appearances as well as two outings in the Carabao Cup.
As things stand, the Eagles have only made one signing this month in Cenk Tosun, who joined on loan from Everton.

Let’s see how the Crystal Palace fans on Twitter reacted to the news…
To kick off the reaction, these two fans certainly didn’t sound too happy with the news and took aim at the club’s senior figures.
@krystalpaladset simply demanded that Sporting Director Dougie Freedman was sacked after hearing The Sun’s update, whereas Jamie tagged club chairman Steve Parish in a tweet saying that “this would be pathetic”.
Elsewhere, the Ibe news made these two fans question why they even support the club.
Aman said that “this club is depressing” while Carl asked “why do I support this club” – the Eagles haven’t had much fun this month with no Premier League wins and just the one new face.
Lastly, these two fans also didn’t take the news well.
Louis said that he “would rather see us sign Jermaine Pennant” – the former Liverpool man, now 37 years of age, is currently without a club.
Also, Liam highlighted the fact that Crystal Palace have been linked with Yannick Carrasco – who has since rejoined Atletico Madrid – as well as Bowen, but the club are now appearing to target Ibe, a player nowhere near as glamorous as the aforementioned two names.

Liam added that “you just can’t get anymore Palace than that” – it truly has been a fall from grace.
In other news, a journalist has said that a £15m Crystal Palace transfer target is “very unlikely” to leave today…
