Tottenham flopped yet again as Ange Postecoglou's side lost 1-0 to AZ Alkmaar at AFAS Stadion in the Europa League. The hosts dominated the proceedings during the first leg of the round of 16 tie, and Spurs fans were not happy with the players' commitment and booed the team as Vicario seemed to demand more support from the travelling support.

As per The Daily Mail, Vicario then got upset with the enraged fans and expressed his frustration as he walked away. Maddison then showed his disappointment towards the fans' reaction as he raised his hands in a querying manner.

On social media, fans criticized Vicario's behaviour, and one even claimed that they'd be 'happy if he never wears the club's shirt again'. Additonally, another fan also told the goalkeeper that he 'does not care about us'.
WHAT NEXT FOR SPURS?
Postecoglou's side headed into the knockout stages of the Europa League; however, they will now have to overturn a goal deficit against AZ Alkmaar at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next week.
